At the same time, he understands the desire among collectors and art enthusiasts to obtain significantly unique pieces of art. He has attempted to resolve this by creating a distinctive offering of limited first edition prints, custom printed on traditional photographic papers. This sets these prints apart from his more accessible Artist Edition prints which use gicleé pigment printing methods. While both offer beautifully collectible, high quality archival solutions, it is Murphy’s hope that the distinctive tradition of custom photographic printing available in the limited first edition prints will make them an attractive option for those looking for more unique properties to add to their fine art collections.
