LIMITED FIRST EDITION PRINTSThese fine art limited editions are released in low volume (typically 10-25 prints) and are custom printed under Murphy’s supervision on museum grade archival photographic papers. These prints have superb color and tonal qualities, and excellent display life. Prints are hand titled, numbered and signed by the artist and come with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. These prints are unique from our Artist Editions in that they are made using traditional photo-chemical processes. ARTIST EDITION PRINTSArtist Edition Prints are made directly by Murphy or under Murphy’s direct supervision with pigment-on-paper using the finest museum quality materials. Murphy favors giclée printing for his Artist Editions because its ability to achieve the exceptional range of color and tone he envisions for these images. These are truly archival prints, crafted using the most advanced fine art inks and papers with excellent depth and texture. When properly displayed or stored, they have an expected lightfastness of 100+ years for color prints and 200+ years for black-and-white prints. LIMITED EDITION PRINT FOLIOSThese are unique collections of unbound prints, focused on a particular theme, assembled together in a custom storage and presentation sleeve. Each print is signed and numbered with the folio edition. In addition each of these collection comes with a certificate of authenticity and information about the prints included in the collection. These prints, like the artist editions above, are pigment-on-paper giclées made personally by Murphy, or under his direct and close supervision, using the finest museum quality archival materials. The prints are ideal for enjoying loose, but are equally suitable for mounting and framing.
